Employment and Training Advice

Hyacinth Foster, manager of Project 2020 and HfH apprentices

Our Employment and Training team offers free career advice to council tenants in Haringey to help you back into employment, training or further education.

If you’re looking to find work and need help applying for jobs and completing applications forms then contact one of our qualified Employment Support Officers who can book you in for a free Information, advice and guidance appointment.

The team works closely with other key partners and employers in the borough, and provides access to wider training and job opportunities.

 

What we offer

The team delivers employment support sessions from various locations in Haringey that you can find further below; we also provide help and assistance with any of the following:

  • Job search support include free access to ICT
  • Weekly Job Club
  • Help with devising your CV
  • Help with completing online job applications
  • Mock interview preparation
  • Help with interview clothes
  • Career advice
  • Confidence building
  • Accessing training/volunteering and apprenticeship opportunities

 

Who can access the service

  • Aged 16yrs +
  • HfH tenants who are unemployed or on low incomes
  • Unemployed and looking for work
  • Have the right to work in the UK and recourse to public funds
