Resident Board Member Elections 2019

Homes for Haringey is looking for interested and committed people to play a part in helping to ensure that we deliver high quality housing services for the benefit of all our tenants and leaseholders.

We welcome the involvement of residents in the governance of Homes for Haringey and this summer there is an opportunity for residents to find out more about what being a Board member involves and to stand for election to the Board.

To ensure that our board is representative of the community that Homes for Haringey serves we would welcome nominations from residents with experience of living in supported housing or homelessness.

There are also other opportunities to get involved through membership of our Resident Scrutiny Panel and the Complaints Appeal Panel. The experience and insight that residents bring to the work of the Board and Panels is essential to the success of the organisation and we are keen to hear from new people who would be interested in getting involved.

We have produced a booklet that tells you about each role, how to find out more about the time commitment and responsibilities involved and how to apply.

You can read the booklet online by clicking here.

We are holding four information sessions over the next few weeks where you can meet current Board and Panel members, ask questions and decide whether one of these roles may be for you. If you would like to attend, click here to the online information page and external nomination site where you can register to attend.

We hope you find this information useful and that you will consider the opportunity to express an interest in one of these vital roles.
