Tamar Way

From estate feedback, we know residents are concerned about anti-social behaviour and want to improve the security of the blocks. Haringey Council would now like to understand in more detail from you what your thoughts are on the block, what changes are needed and your views on exploring in more detail improvements beyond just Decent Homes upgrades, such as building brand new homes.

As part of Haringey Council’s Tottenham’s Future consultation which took place between October 2013 and February 2014, Haringey Council talked to residents in Tottenham, including Tamar Way, about their aspirations to improve Tottenham and priorities for improvements to housing.

The council has identified a potential opportunity to create a pedestrian ‘green link’ from Tottenham High Road to access the green spaces of Tottenham Marshes and Walthamstow Wetlands beyond. This would greatly improve the Tottenham Hale area and was supported by residents and businesses in the Tottenham’s Future consultation.

Residents of Tamar Way are encouraged to tell us what you think by completing and returning the survey by Monday 3 November 2014.

Your comments will be treated as confidential. If you need to get advice on the survey you can book a home visit with the Communities team on 020 8489 5321 or email and get advice on the survey.
