Job Title:        Community Relations Assistant - Part Time 18 hours

Grade:            £11,253

Are you able to build relationships with younger people? Are you keen to engage in sports, music, art and fashion and collaborate with groups of aspiring people? Are you experienced in offering advice about sexual health, substance abuse, training programmes and signposting young people towards vocational training courses? If so then please read on…

We are actively looking for someone who can engage with young people. This role will see you work with individuals in the community and help equip them with the tools and contacts needed to overcome personal challenges, whilst investing in them to build their future.

This key role will see you empowering young people and helping them engage in various activities including music and film production, an involvement in politics as well as sharing and celebrating successes. You will also be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and conducting one to one advice and guidance with action plans, to scope out career opportunities.

This is a perfect role for someone wanting to work alongside young people to share their ideas and passion to inspire. The role is varied and involves a practical, hands-on approach and you must be flexible and adaptable.

This is an exciting role for someone looking to build a career in resident / youth engagement. Someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, a good communicator, has a great sense of humour and the ability to engage young people, and plan youth programmes.

The job involves working evenings and weekends.
