Our Scrutiny Panel is the central resident-led body that checks we are meeting the standards set out for us.

The Scrutiny Panel chooses which areas of work they want to look into. We are providing the necessary training and information so they can check our strengths and weaknesses, how we’re performing and how satisfied residents are with the service in question. Feedback from the Scrutiny Panel will go to Homes for Haringey’s Board and Executive Management Team who will have a duty to respond.

The current Scrutiny Panel members are:

• Peter Gilbert, leaseholder
• Caesar Lalobo, tenant
• Dolly Pelham, supported housing tenant

The Scrutiny Panel has recently worked with Homes for Haringey’s Best Value Team to look at arrangements for winter planning within our Estate Service. The Panel is currently working on its review plan for this year. Oonah Lacey is the independent consultant to the Panel.
