The members of the Board have a wide range of experience and interests but they have two things in common: a real affection for Haringey and a desire to improve the borough’s council housing.

![]() | Alena Breckova (resident) has been a leaseholder and resident in Haringey for 7 years. She is actively involved in various panels and has served as Vice Chair of the Haringey Leaseholders' Association. Alena is keen to bring to the Board the leaseholders' views and to take part in the process of debate and decision-making on various housing policies and practices. |

![]() | Jonathan Card, Chair (independent expert), freelance housing consultant, worked for housing associations in strategic and operational management roles for nearly 20 years. “I want to be part of something new and different in Haringey which can make a real impact on the lives of local people.” |
![]() | Paula Goodwin (resident) has lived with her family in Haringey for 33 years. She has been involved in the community and voluntary sectors for a number of years. She also helps various homelessness projects in the borough. Paula ran her own business as a hairdresser and sees herself as a real 'people' person. She is committed to helping to ensure we provide good services and has also a particular interest in seeing anti-behaviour issues being dealt with promptly and efficiently. |
![]() | Phil Goodwin, Vice Chair (resident) was born in Haringey and has lived in the borough for 65 years. He joined the Board to oversee the implementation of the Decent Homes programme and to be an advocate for all of the scattered and street properties to ensure tenants receive the same level of service as tenants on estates. He is committed to seeing that tenants are in control of what happens in their homes, and to ensuring active tenant involvement at a local level. |

He studied architecture before working in local authority housing, including Haringey’s Construction department. “I’m keen to help Homes for Haringey provide good services to tenants and to achieve the Decent Homes Standard.” |
![]() | Mary Marchi (resident) has been a resident in Tottenham for over 50 years, and a supported housing tenant for the last 6 years. Mary has sat on various committees in her time, including Age Concern Haringey and the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Liaison Group. She is also Estate Monitor for Bigbury Close and Lamford Close. Mary is keen to ensure that public money is spent wisely and well on things that are important to supported housing residents and their well-being. |
![]() | John Morris (independent expert) is a freelance housing consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in social housing management, resident involvement and community regeneration. He has worked with several landlords delivering the Decent Homes Standard and is particularly keen to see landlords delivering a high quality service with the active involvement of their residents. |

![]() | Councillor Juliet Solomon is a Liberal Democrat Councillor for Alexandra Ward. She comes from a background in teaching and lecturing (schools and university) and research, much of it related to social exclusion. “Clearly all the council services are crucial in one way or another, but without housing for people, all the others become a bit redundant. I would like to be able to make a useful contribution in this area.” |

![]() | Robin Tebbutt (independent expert) is the Executive Finance Director of the HQN (Housing Quality Network) and a housing consultant. An accountant by training, he understands the complexities of housing finance. “There is a real opportunity for us to improve the quality of life for Haringey's tenants and I would love to play a part in that.” |
![]() | Georgina Walters (resident) has lived in north Tottenham for over 30 years and is an active member within her local community. “As an active member of the community I want to use my skills to promote and build better communities and tackle important issues such as anti-social behaviour and help provide better housing services.” |
![]() | Laurie White has been a resident for over 30 years, and is strongly committed to involving tenants and leaseholders in the management of council housing. He has been employed by the GLC, Haringey Council (Alexandra Palace), Age Concern Haringey (Community Development) and is currently a manager for Age Concern. Laurie's priorities are helping our management team to deliver cost-effective housing services, repairs and development. |
| Tom McGregor has worked in housing for some 28 years. He worked first as a general manager in a single homeless project, then over 22 years with Genesis Housing Group: 10 years with PCHA rising to Deputy Director of Operations, then MD of Pathmeads Housing Association and Group Director of Regeneration, and then for the last 3 years as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive. As COO, he has responsibility for the majority of the Group’s operational activities.Tom has an MBA from Aston University Business School. | |
| Keith Jenkins is a Senior Partner at Winckworth Sherwood and has a sterling reputation in the housing sector as a lawyer of great intellectual calibre. Keith has worked for over 30 years for housing associations and local authorities on matters related to housing. He has also advised on establishing ALMOs. | |
| Graeme Haskett has worked as a management consultant for the last 12 years, whether on particular projects or as an interim Executive staff member. He has had a varied career in different operations environments – for example, in the North Sea Oil industry, in engineering, in construction and commercial property maintenance, at Network Rail and at Metronet.Graeme has worked with CityWest Homes (Westminster City Council’s ALMO) and Rotherham 2010 Ltd (Rotherham Borough Council’s ALMO). |
