Saturday 25 March 2006
Homes for Haringey, the new company set up by Haringey Council to run the borough’s council homes, has been officially launched.
The arms length management organisation (ALMO), which residents voted in favour of last year, will manage over 21,000 homes and bring them up to the government’s decent homes standard by 2010. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the council.
