Hours:   X 11 post at 36 Hours per week Monday – Friday  

              X 1 post at 18 Hours per week Monday – Friday (Pro Rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full-time and part-time Support and Wellbeing Workers working in a newly formed Support and Wellbeing Service in Homes for Haringey. The posts will involve supporting older people with varying needs including mental health, learning disabilities and those with dementia.

The Support and Wellbeing Workers will support residents in all aspects of managing their tenancy

Experience of working with vulnerable client groups, including older people would be useful.  

Support and Wellbeing Workers will be in regular contact with service users, families, carers, other professionals and partner agencies, therefore the role will require you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a sensitive and professional approach.
We are looking for creative and dynamic people who will actively promote residents independence and choice whilst ensuring they have access to a variety of community resources.

The suitable candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, be able to promote and actively support residents to live independently and develop strong links with external organisations. 

Working in this challenging yet rewarding environment will give you the opportunity to develop the skills required to provide an effective service provision for the Supported Housing residents within Haringey. 

If you have experience of working with older people and/or vulnerable client groups, have an understanding of their needs, and the ability to provide a high level service we would like to hear from you.
