Homes for Haringey’s Tenancy Management team has won the accolade of Best Team of 2009 at the Wow! Awards ceremony.

The announcement was made at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden yesterday (4th November). This prestigious award is the only national award for outstanding customer service based purely on customer nominations and is now the biggest award of its type.  

Judges of The WOW! Awards were dazzled by customer stories for Homes for Haringey. One customer wrote:“I have found the officer always willing to listen to what one has to say. Very polite and helps as much as he is able. I think he definitely needs a WOW pat on the back as he does get things done."

The whole Tenancy Management team was shortlisted for the award.

Jackie Thomas, Executive Director of Housing Management, said: “I am so proud that so many members of our team have been singled out for their excellent customer service and high standards of consideration and care towards tenants and the general public. They embody the values of Homes for Haringey and are true ambassadors of our organisation. Well done to them all!”
