What do I do if I need an interpreter?
If you visit a Homes for Haringey office or have an appointment to see one of our officers, you can ask for an interpreter and we will arrange one for you free of charge.
Your interpreter can interpret for you either in person or over the phone. If an interpreter is not available, we will arrange another appointment for you.
How do I ask for a translation?
If you need a translation, simply ask the Homes for Haringey officer who is dealing with your enquiry.
Most of our documents have a form on the back cover which you can fill in and send to a freepost address to receive the information in another language or format. This is a free service.

Individual needs
Haringey is a community of people from many backgrounds and with different needs. We want to treat everybody equally. In order to check this we are asking every tenant to provide us with further information on their individual needs by completing an individual needs form
. This form will be attached to your tenancy file and will enable us to provide you with a better service. The information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.
