At Homes for Haringey, we can provide you with free training so that you can build on your existing skills and knowledge. All our courses are enjoyable and give you the opportunity to share your experiences. So while you learn from others, they can also learn from you. If you successfully complete a course, we will award you a certificate of attendance. Upcoming course dates are:

  • Consultation Skills (part 1) - 22 May (Wood Green Civic Centre, 6.30pm to 9.30pm)
  • Disability Awareness - 29 May (Wood Green Civic Centre, 6.30pm to 9.00pm)
  • Consultation Skills (part 2) - 30 May (Wood Green Civic Centre, 6.30pm to 9.30pm)
  • Giving Effective Feedback - 12 June (Wood Green Civic Centre, 6.30pm to 9.00pm)
  • AQA Film training (two-day course) - choice of dates for day one are 22, 23 and 25 May / choice of dates for day two are 12, 13 and 14 June (Commerce Road Community Centre, 11am to 5pm)

Estate Monitoring Training

We run an ongoing training programme for Estate Monitors on the Housemark national standards for assessing quality of estate services including grounds maintenance and cleaning. The training is run by Estate Services Managers. Register your interest by emailing Patricia Birch or call 020 8489 8699.
