Homes for Haringey’s Chief Executive to run London Marathon 2010
Tuesday 20 April 2010
The Chief Executive of Homes for Haringey, Paul Bridge, is running in this year’s Virgin London Marathon in support of the Housing Action Charity, HACT.
Paul hopes to raise £4,000 for the charity which helps housing providers transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people within their communities.
So far, Paul, who is married with two children, has been getting into shape by running home from Wood Green to Peckham and regularly taking the stairs throughout the day. This is the second marathon for Paul, who has just turned 40. The 26 mile course takes place on Sunday April 25 with almost 50,000 runners expected to take part.

Paul said: “After successfully completing a full marathon last year and raising £4,000 for Crisis, I decided to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon again. I chose Hact as I am committed to improving housing conditions for local people. Hact are doing fantastic work in local communities by introducing projects which improve the wellbeing of residents.”
