Following assessment and independent research by the CRF Institute, it now joins the rank of forward thinking organisations providing excellent working environments and training opportunities. The Arms Length Management Organisation has a workforce of over 700 staff, located in eight offices across the borough.

In 2008, it was awarded £200m by the Government to carry out a Decent Homes refurbishment programme across the borough. To date over 3,000 properties have been brought up to the Decent Homes Standard.

Chief Executive, Paul Bridge, who joined in 2008, said: “This independent recognition recognises our commitment to becoming an outstanding housing provider. Homes for Haringey is a dynamic organisation which encourages, supports and trains staff to deliver excellent services to local tenants and customers.”

This is the first year Homes for Haringey has entered the scheme which assesses excellence in key areas of Human Resources best practice and policies. Organisations are scored following thorough research across five categories including pay and benefits, training and development, career development, working conditions and company culture.
