Haringey Leaseholders’ Association recognition suspended

Friday 15 October 2010

On 28 September 2010, Homes for Haringey suspended its recognition of Haringey Leaseholders’ Association pending an investigation. This investigation centres on apparent breaches of Homes for Haringey’s minimum recognition criteria for umbrella organisations which we require any such organisations to comply with in order for them to be formally recognised as representing the views of our 4,500 leaseholders. Once completed, a report will go to the Homes for Haringey Board outlining the outcomes of the investigation. We will advise our leaseholders of the Board’s decision in due course.

Homes for Haringey is responsible for managing approximately 4,500 leasehold homes across the borough.
