resident board member elections 2010

Voting has now closed for the Resident Board Member elections 2010. The votes were counted and we're pleased to announce the new Board members as:

Tenants:

Phil Goodwin with 4,779 votes (re-elected)

Laurie White with 4,413 votes

Georgina Walters with 3,525 votes (re-elected)

Paula Goodwin with 3,297 votes

47% of eligible tenants voted in the elections

Leaseholders:

Alena Breckova 1,641 votes

45% of eligible leaseholders voted in the elections

Supported Housing:

Mary Marchi 495 votes

61% of eligible supported housing residents voted in the elections

What happens now?

The voting closed on Monday 13 September and had a record rise in turnout. These six newly elected resident Board members will take their seats on the Board at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 27 September, 2010.
