Countdown to Customer Services Week 2009
Monday 28 September 2009
Staff from Homes for Haringey will be at The Mall Shopping Centre in Wood Green, to promote this year’s national Customer Services Week (5-11 October 2009). As part of the week, a stall will be outside the new Primark site on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October 2009. Staff will be on hand inviting local residents to find out more about the organisation.
Throughout the week senior managers will be ringing back a sample of customers who have made a complaint, to ensure it has been handled correctly and they are happy with the outcome. Other staff will take on internal job shadowing opportunities.
Up to 12 staff who successfully completed the Institute of Customer Services will be presented with their award certificate, by Jackie Thomas, Executive Director of Housing Management.
Jackie Thomas, said both management and staff are looking forward to meeting local residents’ and hearing their views first hand. She said: “Listening to our residents remains our main priority. Customer Services Week allows us to focus on shaping our services further by giving us a better understanding of the needs of customers in the local community.”
Any customer issue that cannot be resolved at the time will be noted and passed to the relevant department for a response. A summary of the results and actions arising from our door knocking campaign, an extensive borough wide project involving staff visiting all 21,000 resident’s homes, will also be available.
