Cash grants available to buy a new home

If you want to buy a new home but need extra money, then we may be able to help.

We can provide a cash grant of up to £30,000 toward the cost of your new home in return for you leaving your council property.

To qualify for the scheme you must:

• Be a Haringey Council secure tenant with at least two years tenancy;
• Live in a property with two or more bedrooms; and
• Not be in receipt of Housing Benefit or have any rent or council tax arrears.
