Black History Month 2008
Wednesday 1 October 2008
Black History Month has been celebrated across the UK every October since 1987. It is a time when we highlight and celebrate the achievements of the Black community and uncover hidden and concealed history about our communities.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush. Connections and Directions is the programme of events taking place across Haringey during October 2008.
