anti-social behaviour
How we work to tackle anti-social behaviour
There are many types of anti-social behaviour (ASB), including nuisance and harassment in relation to:
- race
- gender
- sexuality
- religious belief
- vermin
- children and youth
- abandoned vehicles
- disputes
- disability
- dogs fouling
- offensive calls
- drug abuse
- noise.
We take anti-social behaviour very seriously. Our vision is to create a safer Haringey, where residents have an improved quality of life and don’t have to worry about anti-social behaviour. We work in partnership with Haringey Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT), other Haringey Council departments and the police so that we can do a better job of co-ordinating and supporting victims of anti-social behaviour, as well as prosecuting those who commit anti-social behaviour when we have the evidence to do so.
