information for leaseholders
This section provides a range of useful information for leaseholders, including information about what your lease contains, the charges you have to pay, how you can take part in decision making. We want you to be informed so that you can make the most of your home and environment, for as long as you choose to stay in it.

Also if you are thinking of becoming a leaseholder, you will find helpful information in this section on buying your home and what information Homes for Haringey can provide you with so that you are able to make an informed decision.

What's new
Visiting service for sublessees
We are the first ALMO to launch a visiting service to leaseholders' sublessees. When leaseholders register their sublet with us (as required under the terms of the lease), we will arrange for a Tenancy Management Officer to carry out a home visit to give the new sublessee(s) an information pack about our services, to answer any queries and to record the leaseholders' contact details in case of an emergency.
To register your sublet with us, call us on 020 8489 3357 or 020 8489 3231or email us at: right2buy@homesforharingey.org
Key Leaseholder Scheme
It is our policy to increase resident involvement and promote good practice wherever possible. Following the success of similar schemes run by other ALMOs, we've therefore developed our new Key Leaseholder Scheme in consultation with the Leasehold Panel and members of the Haringey Leaseholders' Association.
Key leaseholders are volunteers who actively help inspect communal repairs and other works carried out to their blocks or estates, and provide feedback on Homes for Haringey's frontline customer services. For more information about the scheme, please download our Key Leaseholders Scheme booklet
.
Apply to become a key leaseholder by completing the application form (Word) and emailing it to us at: key.leaseholders@homesforharingey.org
For queries call us on 020 8489 3060 or 020 8489 3021 or email us at above address.

We are pleased to offer you a new way to report repairs needed to the outside of your property.
The Graphical Repairs Ordering (GRO) system is picture based, so you simply click on the image of the item that needs to be fixed. The new system does not replace the normal repairs and emergency phone lines – it gives you another way to report a repair. If you have access to a computer you can use the GRO system.
If you don’t have a computer at home you can use the internet free at your local library.
