training and support
As part of our commitment to you, we can provide you with free training so that you can build on your existing skills and knowledge. All the courses encourage you to join in and are enjoyable. They are also designed to give you the opportunity to share your experiences, so while you learn from others, they can also learn from you. If you successfully complete a course, we will award you a certificate of attendance.
We run the following courses between January and March 2010:
- Minute taking skills - 20 January (6.30pm - 9pm)
- How to make your Residents' Association more inclusive - 29 January (10.30am - 12.30pm)
- How to make your Residents' Association more inclusive - 2 February (7pm to 9pm)
- Treasurer and finance skills - 11 February (11am to 2.30pm)
- Advocate training - 18 March (7pm to 9pm)
- Introduction to computers - 23 March (10am to 1pm)
- Leaseholders' rights - 23 March (7pm to 9pm)
- Leaseholders' rights - 24 March (7pm to 9pm)
- Fundraising skills - 30 March (11am to 3pm)

outlining the training we are currently offering. If four or more people would be interested in any of the training in this brochure we can also offer to give the training locally to your group. Contact the Resident Involvement team for more information.
