your decent homes contractors

In 2007 with the help of residents, we selected four contractors to do the decent homes work. Each contractor will work in one of the Tenancy Management areas - Wood Green, South Tottenham, North Tottenham or Hornsey. Below is a bit of information about each of them.

South Tottenham - Apollo London

The Apollo Group carries out a wide range of major social housing refurbishment projects - last year they worked on 35,000 properties. The 2006 Construction News league rated them as number one in a table of contractors working in the public housing sector.

Wood Green - Mulalley & Company Ltd

Mulalley & Company Ltd is a family owned construction, development and refurbishment contractor based in London. They've been in business for over 30 years and they're a founder associate member of the considerate constructor scheme. This means they have standards above and beyond the basic level required by law.

North Tottenham - Lovell Partnership

Regeneration and housing refurbishment specialist Lovell is a leading provider of affordable housing in England, Wales and Scotland. They have a 35 year history of partnership working with local authorities and housing associations building sustainable communities.

Hornsey - Wates Construction

Wates Living Space is one of the UK's leading affordable housing construction services companies. Last year they built and refurbished more than 20,000 homes and they're currently working on several decent homes projects in south London.
