The members of the Board have a wide range of experience and interests but they have two things in common: a real affection for Haringey and a desire to improve the borough’s council housing.

Councillor Sara BeynonCouncillor Sara Beynon is a Liberal Democrat councillor for the Fortis Green ward. More information coming soon.
Jonathan CardJonathan Card (independent expert), freelance housing consultant, worked for housing associations in strategic and operational management roles for nearly 20 years. “I want to be part of something new and different in Haringey which can make a realimpact on the lives of local people.”
Rosie Chapman

Rosie Chapman (independent expert) is currently Director of Policy and Effectiveness for the Charity Commission, the organisation which regulates charities. She has also worked for the Housing Corporation, for a housing association and (many years ago!) for Haringey Council.

“I’ve been a Haringey resident for well over 20 years. I really enjoy living here and want to use my experience, knowledge and skills to benefit the residents and the area I live in – in other words to put something back.”

Roger DownerRoger Downer (resident) was born in Haringey and moved back to the borough in 1989. “I joined the Board to see that youth have more opportunity to better themselves and to see more opportunities in the area.”

Councillor Pat Egan is a Labour councillor for the Woodside ward: "I have been a resident of Wood Green for over 30 years. Prior to my election to the Council I was and still am involved in various community groups. I am committed to the improvement of the Borough and welcome this opportunity to join the Board and make a positive contribution to the continuing improvement of Council Housing."

Phil GoodwinPhil Goodwin (resident) was born in Haringey and has lived in the borough for 63 years. He joined the Board to oversee the implementation of the Decent Homes programme and to be an advocate for all of the scattered and street properties to ensure tenants receive the same level of service as tenants on estates. He is committed to seeing that tenants are in control of what happens in their homes, and to ensuring active tenant involvement at a local level.
Bill GuyBill Guy (resident) is a former athletics champion and a member of the London pensions forum. He wants to give something in return for the support he has received and is actively involved in several community organisations.
Enid John

Enid John (resident) has lived in the borough for sixteen years and is chair of her local residents’ association. ‘I am a people person and joined the Board because I want to support and help the community and to play an active part in contributing to Haringey’s development.’

Michael JonesMichael Jones, Chair (independent expert) works for the centre for housing and planning research. He studied architecture before working in local authority housing, including Haringey’s construction department. “I’m keen to help Homes for Haringey provide good services to tenants and to achieve the decent homes standard.”
Anne ScottAnne Scott (resident) has been a resident in Haringey for most of her life and is strongly committed to ensuring that Haringey residents most in need receive access to good quality housing services. “I want to see Homes for Haringey increase the involvement of residents so we can provide the best services for them and they can get the best out of our services.”
Anton ShelupanovAnton Shelupanov (resident). Anton lives in Tottenham and works in the criminal justice field. He has a long-standing interest in decent social housing. Anton joined the Board to ensure that tenants and leaseholders alike receive services of a high standard and are treated with fairness and respect by Homes for Haringey.
Alan StantonCouncillor Alan Stanton has been a labour councillor for nearly eight years. He has an interest in housing and recognises that Homes for Haringey will have to tackle some tough issues.
Robin TebbuttRobin Tebbutt (independent expert) is a housing consultant. An accountant by training, he understands the complexities of housing finance. "There is a real opportunity for us to improve the quality of life for Haringey's tenants and I would love to play a part in that."
